Barry Manilow and Billy Joel are two of the most beloved piano playing pop artists of all time. With hits like I Write The Songs, Just The Way You Are, Copacabana,
New York State of Mind, Can't Smile Without You, She's Always A Woman, Mandy
and many, many, many more, they are the soundtrack of a generation.
And with 84 Top 40 hits, 16 number 1 hits and 30 platinum or multi platinum
albums between them, they are also two of the most successful.
They cut their teeth playing New York City nightclubs before making it big. Now Gary LaRue and his Rat Pack Band will be bringing some of that same music, style,
energy and fun to The Dugout Bar in Mahtomedi with their show called
Piano Men - A Tribute to Barry Manilow and Billy Joel.
Gary, along with Ted Godbout on piano, Matt Senjem on bass, Eron Woods on drums and Andy Wolf on guitar, will be performing some of the greatest songs ever
written. This is almost two hours of non-stop entertainment. If you like the music of

Hey Everyone! If you're looking for entertainment for your wedding, private or corporate party, anniversary, grand opening or pretty much any event, consider me, Gary LaRue and Rat Pack Entertainment.
If you want a singer, I can do that. Backed instrumentally by anything from a big band to a quartet all the way down to a computer, I specialize in singing the hits of the Rat Pack era and other easy listening classics - that I call "Vintage Groove Music". If you want a DJ, I can do that too. If you want a singing DJ, I think I'm the only one in the world who does that! (That's probably not true but I don't know of any others!)
